Russian forces seize wheelchairs, mattresses from civilians in Luhansk region
The number of wounded Russian soldiers has increased significantly in Luhansk region, and medical institutions lack essential equipment for treatment
The Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
It is noted that the number of Russian forces requiring hospitalization has increased significantly. However, the supply of necessary things to hospitals has not been established: additional wheelchairs and mattresses are taken from local residents by the Russians.
“Medics in the occupied territories themselves admit that they are not ready to receive such a large number of wounded. And no one has taught them how to treat severe cases. Because this year, both the structure of the injury and the principles of providing medical aid have changed. If before they usually worked with bullet wounds and monotrauma, now it is a polytrauma and is mainly related to mine-explosive injuries,” the press service of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration wrote.

On December 7, Ukraine's Center of National Resistance reported that hospitals in the temporarily occupied areas of the Luhansk region are forcibly discharging patients who have not yet finished their treatment in order to make room for wounded Russian soldiers.
