Russian forces retreat slightly in Kreminna direction
Serhiy Haidai, Ukraine's Luhansk region head, says Russian troops have been actively attacking in the Kreminna direction over the past few days, but have withdrawn after suffering significant losses
Serhiy Haidai wrote on Telegram that the situation in the Luhansk region is difficult, but controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“A few days ago there were a lot of powerful attacks. The main efforts were made in the direction of Kreminna. The enemy is not resting in the direction of Bilohorivka. There are constant attacks from tanks, heavy artillery and aviation,” Colonel Haidai said.
However, the enemy suffered significant losses in the Kreminna direction, so the Russian army "pulled back" to replenish its units.
“They (the occupiers - ed.) pulled back because they needed to replenish their units, as they were quite defeated. They even tried to go with a convoy of vehicles, but after a good response from our defenders, they also retreated,” he said.

Earlier, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andrii Cherniak, said that Russia would not be able to launch a large-scale offensive in the east by February 24 due to a lack of resources.
