Russian forces restrict electricity supply to civilians in Donetsk region, prevent farmers from selling grain in Luhansk region – General Staff

In the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, invading Russian forces are limiting electricity supply to the population, and in the Luhansk region, they are preventing farmers from selling grain

In the Manhush district of the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, the occupying Russian forces continue to put pressure on the civilian population, in particular by limiting the supply of electricity to homes. The invading Russian troops destroyed a power pole and the village lost power for several days.

In addition, local farmers in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region are experiencing massive damage to their summer and fall 2022 harvest. The Russian administration is completely blocking local farmers from selling grain on both the domestic and foreign markets.

The 'authorities' have also unofficially banned all local bakeries from accepting grain from local farmers. Ukrainian farmers are suffering losses.

Ukrainian aviation launched 16 strikes on enemy personnel and equipment

Over the last day, the Defense Forces' aviation launched 16 strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions. Ukrainian defenders also shot down an enemy Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle.

During the day, missile and artillery units struck the Russian troops' military positions, two munitions depots and two enemy electronic warfare systems.

Russians continue to advance in the Donetsk region

During the day, the enemy launched 3 missile attacks on civilian objects in the Kharkiv region. There are wounded among the civilian population. Also, the Russian troops launched 16 airstrikes, using two Shahed-136 drones, and over 20 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems. 

The enemy continues to violate international humanitarian law, carrying out strikes, shelling civilian objects and houses, and attempting to destroy Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

The Russian Federation is focusing its main efforts on the assaults in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire border line: 2 settlements in the Chernihiv region, 9 more in the Sumy region, as well as 10 villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

The Russian army is spreading propaganda in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region

In Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, the invading Russian forces, with the involvement of local collaborators, are spreading propaganda to highlight the fake 'advantages' of the arrival of the 'Russian authorities' in the region and to justify its legitimacy.
