Russian forces launch rocket attacks on Mykolaiv, damaging educational institutions, transport infrastructure

Mykolaiv regional military administration head Vitaly Kim shared the news. Mykolaiv mayor Oleksandr Senkevych wrote about it in his Telegram channel.

Mykolaiv was subjected to massive rocket fire in the morning.

"Russian forces have again targeted a number of civilian objects in Mykolaiv. Rescuers and emergency teams are already working on the ground," said Senkevych.

According to preliminary information, 9 missiles from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system were fired at the regional center. Currently, it is known about damage to two educational institutions, a transport infrastructure facility and a hotel.

One person was injured. First without victims.

"The city center. Mykolaiv Hotel. The building of the shopping and entertainment center opposite was also damaged by the shock wave and debris," noted Senkevych.

Utility workers are working on site. They have already cleared the road from debris and garbage for cars. The rest of the area around the hotel is currently being cleaned.
