This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Yuriy Malashko.
"Today, at about 12:27 p.m., the Russian military launched a missile attack (the type of missile is being established) on an open area in the Zaporizhzhia district," he wrote.
"Information about the victims and the destruction is being clarified," the official added.
Before that, an air raid alert was declared in the region.
