Russian forces launch 6 missile attacks on Ukraine - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this in their daily update. 

The Russian forces continue to loot civilian infrastructure facilities in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. It became known that as of December 11, the equipment of local agricultural enterprises was removed from the village of Rubanivka.

During the day, the Russian enemy opened mortar and artillery fire in the areas of the Seredyna-Buda and Riasne settlements in the Sumy region, as well as Strilecha, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Volokhivka, Okhrimivka, Chuhunivka, Ambarne, Dvorichna, and Kamianka in the Kharkiv region.

On the border with Belarus and in the north and north-east of Ukraine in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions, the situation hasn't changed significantly. In other directions, the situation is as follows.

• In the Kupiansk direction on the east of the Kharkiv region, the areas of the settlements of Kislivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, Berestovka, and Stelmakhivka were shelled.

• In the Lyman direction on the north of the Donetsk region, the Terny, Yampolivka, and Hirske areas were affected by Russian fire.

• In the Bakhmut direction of the Donetsk region, the enemy shelled the areas of almost twenty settlements with tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery. In particular, these were Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, and Druzhba.

• In the Avdiivka direction of the Donetsk region, Zalizne, New York, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Opytne, Vodiane, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, and Mariinka came under fire.

• In the Vuhledar direction of the Donetsk region, the areas of Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Novoukrainka, and Prechystivka were shelled.

• In the Zaporizhia direction, the Russian enemy inflicted fire damage on Vremivka in the Donetsk region and Zelene Pole, Novopilia, Huliaipole and 8 more settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. 

• In the Kherson direction, the Russian forces shelled settlements in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson with barrel and rocket artillery. There were casualties among the civilian population, and civilian infrastructure was damaged.

On December 12, the Russian forces attacked Kherson several times, hitting residential neighborhoods and medical facilities. There are killed and wounded people.
