Russian forces launch 5 missile strikes, 12 MLRS attacks, killing civilians and destroying houses

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

“Enemy shells damaged residential buildings, and there were civilian casualties,” the report says. 

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact with mortars and artillery: 2 settlements in the Sumy region and 6 villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian enemy shelled 6 settlements. 

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces fired at the areas of 5 settlements. 

In the Bakhmut direction, the invading Russian forces fired at 9 settlements of the Donetsk region with tanks, mortars and artillery, and in the Avdiivka direction, 8 more settlements were attacked. 

In the Vuhledar direction, the enemy fired at 4 settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russians fired mortars, cannon and rocket artillery at more than 15 cities and villages.

In the Kherson direction, 12 cities and villages were subjected to mortar and artillery fire.

In the occupied territories, the invading Russian forces are forcing people to take Russian passports and agitating them to serve in the occupation army. 

“The enemy continues measures to force passportization of the population in the temporarily occupied territories. Thus, in the city of Kreminna, Luhansk region, employees of the so-called "state enterprises of the LPR" who are not in line to receive a Russian passport have their salaries reduced by 30%,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported. 

In the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, Russians are intensifying 'filtration' measures: for example, FSB officers arrived in Novotroitske to check the pro-Ukrainian local population.

In addition, in the Kherson region, the invaders are agitating young people to join the Russian army: cadet classes with enhanced military training are being set up in schools in the Skadovsk district and promised that graduates of these classes will allegedly be appointed to sergeant positions if they enlist in the contract military service.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the occupiers' concentration areas and SAM positions.

Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian aviation has launched 9 strikes on Russian military positions and 2 strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukrainian rocket launchers and artillery hit 2 areas of enemy manpower concentration.
