Russian forces injure three people, including a child, in one day in Kharkiv region

On July 5-6, Russian forces injured three people, targeting houses, a school, an administrative building, and a field in Kharkiv region.

Kharkiv regional military head Oleg Synegubov shared the details in his Telegram channel.

"At around 01:00, Russian forces launched an attack in the Osnovyansky district, hitting an open area. In Novobavarsky district, the administrative building was destroyed, part of the building was destroyed. In the Kyivsky district, the premises of the higher educational institution in the photo were actually destroyed due to a rocket attack," he noted.

As Suspilne reports with reference to the prosecutor's office of the Kharkiv region, a 40-year-old security guard was killed as a result of a rocket attack on the university. The law enforcement officers have opened criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder.

Also, during the day, Russian forces set fire to the Izyum, Kharkiv, Chuguyiv, Bogoduhiv districts. As a result, residential buildings, open areas, and a wheat field burned.

"In the past day, 3 people were injured in the region: 2 in Chuguyiv district, among them a child of 1 year and 11 months and a 64-year-old man. No one was hospitalized there. Though a 50-year-old man was hospitalized from Husarivka," Oleg Synegubov emphasized.

Ukrainian defenders hold their positions. Offensive operations of the Russian Federation were unsuccessful.
