Operational Command South's press center head Natalia Humeniuk warns of the threat of a massive Russian missile attack
Natalia Humeniuk said this on the air of the telethon.
When asked about the possibility of a missile attack by the Russian forces on January 26, the spokeswoman answered in the affirmative:
“It is absolutely necessary to be prepared for the fact that a new massive missile attack could take place right now. Currently, we are observing the activity of enemy aviation, in particular, strategic aviation from the direction of the Caspian Sea, the activity of the Shahed launch bases, as well as the naval group.”
She added that there are currently 3 missile carriers with 20 Kalibr missiles in the Black Sea.
The spokeswoman recalled the Russian army's tactics, which were exposed by Ukrainian defenders: the invading forces were using UAVs to exhaust the Ukrainian air defense systems. It is noteworthy that the Russian troops also used it on the night of January 26, targeting critical, energy, and military infrastructure.
