Russian forces fire more than 100 missiles at Ukraine, surpassing attack on October 10 - Air Force spokesman
Most of missiles during the massive attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine on November 15 were launched by strategic bombers located in the north of the Caspian Sea
Yuriy Ihnat, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, told about this on Espreso TV.
"100 missiles were fired. Unfortunately, it is impossible to shoot down everything, but most of them were downed. The occupier surpassed its attack on October 10, when 84 rockets were launched. On October 31, 45 out of 55 projectiles were shot down," Ihnat said.
He emphasized that today there is good work of air defense.
"Unfortunately, such a number of missiles is a huge challenge. Critical infrastructure objects are hit. There are also consequences for civilians. Most of missiles were launched by Tu-95, Tu-60 strategic bombers from the north of the Caspian Sea, also usually from Rostov region and the Black Sea. In fact, all these missiles flew over all regions of our country," the command's spokesman concluded.
