On August 14, invading Russian forces fired at Russian-occupied Energodar from the suburbs. The workshop foreman from Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was killed, 2 more people were injured
This was announced by the mayor of Energodar, Dmytro Orlov, on Telegram.
"On August 14, murderous provocations deliberately carried out by the occupiers took another human life in Energodar. As a result of shelling in the first neighborhood, a man who was walking his dog died. The animal also did not survive", he emphasized.
Earlier, Dmytro Orlov wrote on Telegram that there were victims of Russian fire.
"As a result of shelling of Energodar, which was launched today from the suburbs - the area of the yacht club, there are casualties among the civilian population in the first micro-district", the mayor said.
Later, the press service of Energoatom reported on Telegram that an employee of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was killed as a result of shelling.
"On August 14, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Russian occupiers fired at least 6 shots at Energodar. As a result of the shelling, an employee of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, shop foreman Marko Maksym Petrovych, was killed. Two more energy workers were injured and are currently sent to the specialized medical and sanitary unit of Energodar", Energoatom wrote.
