Russian forces fire approximately 30 shells at Kherson overnight

“Kherson experienced a MLRS attack. There were five instances of MLRS attacks and cluster munitions attacks on the city. Locals have reported that approximately 30 shells landed in the city, causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure,” he reported. 

The former deputy mayor pointed out that Kherson residents have been enduring such damage daily, with hundreds or even thousands of shattered windows in homes throughout the city. 

He expressed concern that this ongoing shelling would make it challenging to prepare for the upcoming winter and heating season.

• On October 6, the Russian occupying forces shelled Kherson, resulting in the injury of a man who was in his own yard. 

• On the morning of Saturday, October 7, Kherson was once again subjected to shelling by Russian troops, leading to the injury of a local resident.
