In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the situation did not change significantly during the day. The Russians are concentrating their main efforts on holding the occupied borders. Throughout July 23, the occupiers shelled Ukrainian positions along the entire front line with tank weapons, rocket and barrel artillery. The Ukrainian Armed Forces hold the lines and repel Russian attacks.
"According to the report of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Hryhorivka, Kanivske, Kamianske, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipole, and Orihiv settlements in the past 24 hours. 11 reports were received about the destruction of civil infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by the Russian occupying forces'', the Regional Military Administration noted.
During the day, 1,066 people, including 345 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories.
