Russian forces convert kindergarten into military hospital in Kherson region – General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on July 24.

"In the village of Radensk, Kherson region, Russian troops have converted the territory of a local kindergarten into a field hospital. Dozens of wounded soldiers are being treated there," the statement says.

Ukrainian aviation also launched four strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Over the past day, it destroyed three enemy Shahed-136 attack drones.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders struck four control points, three air defense systems, and nine artillery pieces in firing positions over the day. Four Russian electronic warfare stations were also destroyed.

Moreover, the enemy fired 26 times at the territory of Ukraine during the day.

"Unfortunately, there are killed and injured among children and civilians, and the port infrastructure, grain storage facilities in southern Ukraine, residential buildings and other infrastructure have been destroyed and damaged," the statement says.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire border line with mortars and artillery: over 15 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked. 

Russian attacks in other Ukrainian regions

• In the Kupiansk direction, 7 settlements of the Kharkiv region came under artillery shelling. 

• In the Lyman direction, 10 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under Russian fire. 

• In the Bakhmut direction, over 10 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 

• In the Avdiivka direction, over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked. 

• In the Marinka direction, over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region came under shelling. 

• In the Shakhtarsk direction, over 10 localities in the Donetsk region were shelled. 

• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, over 30 towns and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army. 

On the night of July 24, the Russian army launched another attack on the port infrastructure of the Odesa region using 'kamikaze' drones, injuring 7 people and destroying a grain hangar.
