Russian forces are confiscating Ukrainian books from public and school libraries in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, and later burn them in local boiler rooms
The National Resistance Center (NRC) reported the information.
In Rovenky, Luhansk region, cases of mass burning of Ukrainian literature have been recorded: books are confiscated from libraries, including school libraries, and burned in local boiler rooms.
"It should be noted that Russian forces borrowed the practice of burning books from Nazi Germany. At the same time, they justify this by saying that they are removing "Nazi literature," and the list of such literature includes all Ukrainian books," the NRC stated.
