On December 21, invading Russian forces launched 3 missile strikes, one airstrike on a hospital in Zaporizhzhia region and over 20 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems

It is noted that in the town of Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region, Russian aircraft struck the local hospital.
The Russian forces are concentrating their efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions and are trying to improve the tactical position in the Kupiansk and Lyman areas. In the northeastern Ukrainian border in the Kharkiv direction, tank, mortar, and artillery shelling occurred in the areas of the Chervona Zoria, Kozacha Lopan, Vesele, Varvarivka, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Chuhunivka, and Ambarne settlements.

In the Kupiansk direction, fire damage was recorded in the areas of settlements of Novomlynsk, Kupiansk, Kislivka, Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne and Berestovka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the settlement of Chervonohryhorivka, the suburbs and the city of Kherson, and the city of Ochakiv were shelled by rocket and barrel artillery. There are casualties among civilians in these settlements.
The Russian military shelled the Kherson region 71 times over the day on December 20. The occupying Russian forces fired at residential buildings in Kherson and hit the river port.
