Russian forces block taxi routes in Zaporizhzhia region fearing information leaks – General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on April 10.

It is also reported that the occupying Russian forces continue to strengthen the counterintelligence regime in the temporarily occupied territories. The number of checkpoints and patrols in and around Starobilsk, Luhansk region, has increased.

AFU shot down Russian Mi-24 helicopter and 6 drones

It is noted that 2 of them are strike UAVs, and 4 are reconnaissance UAVs.

Over the last day, the Defense Forces' aviation launched 8 strikes on the occupying Russian troops' military positions. 

In turn, missile and artillery units hit the manpower concentration area, as well as the enemy's munitions depot.

During the day, Russian forces launched 21 airstrikes and 5 missile strikes on Ukraine

4 missile strikes from S-300 air defense systems hit Kramatorsk. The occupying Russian forces also launched about 30 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems.

The General Staff reports that the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions – over 20 enemy attacks were repelled this day.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. The Russian troops continue to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine in the Kursk and Belgorod regions. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire border line: 3 settlements in the Chernihiv region, 3 more in the Sumy region, as well as 7 villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

Shelling of other Ukrainian regions:

• In the Kupiansk direction, 8 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under shelling. 

• In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near 3 settlements over the last day. 6 more localities came under artillery fire.

• In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy keeps trying to take full control of the city of Bakhmut, the onslaught continues. 11 localities in the Donetsk region came under fire. 

• In the Avdiivka and Marinka directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the areas of 4 settlements. 7 more localities in the Donetsk region came under fire. 

• In the Shakhtarsk directions, the Russian enemy did not conduct any offensive actions over the last day. 4 more localities in the Donetsk region were attacked. 

• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. 5 cities and villages were subjected to enemy attack. 

On Monday, April 10, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed two Russian drones.
