Russian forces attack 10 Ukrainian regions, leaving 5 people killed, 13 wounded

Over the past day, the occupying Russian forces attacked 10 regions of Ukraine, killing 5 people and injuring 13 others

Information about the consequences of the attacks was published by the regional military administrations.

Ivano-Frankivsk region: On August 11, at about 10 a.m. Russian terrorists attacked the infrastructure of Ivano-Frankivsk region with ballistic missiles.

According to operational data, an X-47 Kinzhal missile hit the territory of a private house in Kolomyia district, where a family with three children lived. An 8-year-old boy was killed as a result of the attack, and one adult civilian was injured.

Chernihiv region: invading Russian forces launched 4 attacks in the region over the last day. They fired from mortars and multiple rocket launchers. Semenivka, Snovsk and Novhorod-Siverskyi communities were under fire.

Sumy region: Russian forces shelled the Seredyna-Buda community at night. No casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure was reported.

On August 11, the Russian army fired 9 times at the border area during the day, having shelled 6 communities. As a result of one of the mortar attacks, 2 residential buildings were damaged.

Dnipropetrovsk region: Russian army shelled Nikopol with heavy artillery in the afternoon on August 11. As a result, a 71-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized in moderate condition.  Also, 15 private houses, 6 outbuildings, 6 power lines and a car were damaged. 

Zaporizhzhia region: the Russian enemy launched 67 attacks on 28 localities in the region over the last day. The shelling resulted in 20 reports of destruction of residential buildings, agricultural machinery and infrastructure. There were no reports of casualties.

Kharkiv region: the invading Russian forces shelled Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi in Kupyansk district this morning. A 73-year-old woman died as a result of the attack. A residential building was also damaged.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensives near Synkivka and Ivanivka. They carried out airstrikes near Kyslivka and Pershotravneve. Over 15 localities were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks. The shelling of the Tymofiivka village in Bohodukhiv district resulted in damage to the hydro facility of the Tymofiivka reservoir.

Luhansk region: Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka were shelled by the Russian army.

The enemy continues to use educational institutions of the occupied territories for its own purposes. In particular, in the village of Sievernyi in the south of Luhansk region, a school building is occupied by the Russian military.

Donetsk region: occupying Russian forces fired 18 times at 8 localities. As a result of hostile attacks, two people were killed and another was wounded. 12 private houses, a morgue, an agricultural company hangar, and a civilian car were also damaged.

Mykolaiv region: on August 11, the Russian troops shelled the village of Kutsurubska community with artillery, damaging residential buildings. There were no casualties.

Also, during the day, they shelled the Ochakiv community; a warehouse caught fire, which was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties. On August 11, artillery shelling was recorded in the coastal areas of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

Kherson region: the Russian enemy launched 39 attacks in the region over the last day, including 3 artillery attacks on the city of Kherson. Russians hit the areas of 19 settlements in the region. The territory of a plant, administrative buildings, an educational institution, critical infrastructure, a church, shops, and cafes in Kherson city community, as well as a humanitarian aid distribution point and a shop building in Beryslav were damaged.

In just 24 hours, one person was killed and 10 were wounded as a result of Russian aggression.
