Russian forces are retreating with losses in Bakhmut, Slovyansk, Southern Bug directions - General Staff

The Russian occupiers continue to focus their efforts on establishing full control over the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. They are also trying to keep the temporarily seized areas of the Kherson and parts of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions.

Air and missile strikes on civilian objects in Ukraine continue.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, offensive groups have not been detected, however, the threat of attacks from Belarus remains.

In the Siverks direction, the Russians launched artillery fire near Kamyanska Sloboda in the Chernihiv region, as well as Svarkove in the Sumy region. Russian UAVs conduct reconnaissance.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians fired in the districts of Odnorobivka, Sosnivka, Duvanka, Dementiivka, Pytomnyk, Ruska and Cherkaska Lozova, Petrivka, Verkhniy Saltiv, Mospanove, Ivanivka, Korobochkyne, and Chepil. Airstrikes were launched near Verkhniy Saltiv, Husarivka, and Sosnivka.

Remote mining was recorded near Peremoha and Ukrainka.

In the Slovyansk direction, the Russian invaders used tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in Hrushuvakha, Krasnopillya, Virnopillya, Mazanivka, and Dolyna.

The occupiers used incendiary ammunition near Nova Dmytrivka and Dibrivne. 

Near Mazanivka, the enemy tried to advance, but the Ukrainian defenders fought back, so the Russians retreated.

In the Donetsk direction, the main efforts of the Russian forces were to launch an offensive and assault in the Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, and Avdiivka directions.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian occupiers shelled the areas of Kramatorsk, Hryhorivka, Pereizne, and Rozdolivka settlements with barrel and jet artillery. Near Ivano-Darivka, with the support of aviation, the enemy conducted an unsuccessful assault.

In the Bakhmut direction, shelling of military and civilian infrastructure was in the districts of Kostyantynivka, Soledar, Yakovlivka, and Maiorsk. The Russians tried to conduct reconnaissance in the battle near Vershyna. Offensive and storming actions of the Russian occupiers in Soledar, Zaitseve, and Maiorsk districts ended in losses and withdrawal.

In the Avdiivka direction, in addition to shelling near Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Alexandropol, Opytne, Novokalynove, and Novobakhmutivka, invading Russian forces launched an airstrike near Marinka. They led an offensive in the Nevelske area. The hostilities still continue. 

In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, artillery shelling was launched near Volodymyrivka, Novoukrainka, Pavlivka, Vugledar, Novosilka, Charivne, Vremivka, Dorozhnianka and Novopil. 

The Russians launched airstrikes near Novoandriivka, Pavlivka, and Poltavka. They launched an offensive near Novomykhailivka. The hostilities still continue.

In the Southern Bug direction, the main efforts of the Russian forces are focused on preventing the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and conducting aerial reconnaissance.

Invading Russian forces continue shelling from tanks, barrel and jet artillery in the areas of settlements of Stepova Dolyna, Nova Zorya, Prybuzke, Shevchenkove, Kiselivka, Blahodatne, Shyroke, Kobzartsi, Andriivka, Dobryanka, Osokorivka, Trudolyubivka, Velyka Kostromka, and Chervonohryhorivka.

They launched airstrikes on the Posad-Pokrovske, Bila Krynytsia and Lozove districts. An unworthy attempt at an offensive battle near Novohryhorivka ended with significant losses for the Russian occupiers.
