"The 35th army of the Russian Federation, which is transferred to the Kherson region, was near Izyum. It was near Izyum that this army was almost completely destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Because of this, the entire leadership of this army was changed. The 35th army of the Russian Federation has combat experience and is used when offensive operations are planned", Hetman explained.
A military expert believes that Russian troops are preparing and planning an offensive in the Kherson region in the near future.
"The actions of the occupiers in the Kherson region are in no way similar to preparations for defense. Since they are not building fortifications or entrenching themselves. The Russians are forming a strike group for offensive operations in the South of Ukraine. We will be able to see how this will all happen in the near future. I think that the Russians will start an offensive on August 5 or 6", he added.
