Russian forces advance in 5 directions and continue to storm Bakhmut, AFU repel almost 50 attacks – General Staff

Invading Russian forces are still conducting offensives in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled 47 attacks over the day

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on March 30.

Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka remain in the epicenter of the fighting.

AFU launched 8 strikes on Russian military positions and destroyed 2 munition depots

Ukrainian aviation launched 6 strikes on the invading Russian forces' military positions over the last day.

In turn, rocket and artillery units hit two manpower concentration areas, as well as two enemy munitions depots.

Russian forces launched 1 missile strikes and 3 airstrikes against Ukraine

Occupying Russian troops also launched five attacks with multiple rocket launchers.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire border line: one settlement in the Chernihiv region, 5 more in the Sumy region, as well as 6 villages in the Kharkiv region were attacked. 

Russian attacks on other Ukrainian regions

Border guards destroyed two groups of Wagner soldiers near Bakhmut. One attack was repelled by mortar launchers using aerial reconnaissance coordinates. The other group of Wagner mercenaries was destroyed by border guards using grenade launchers and small arms in close combat.
