Russian firing positions washed away in Crimea, military facilities without power
The spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South Serhiy Bratchuk noted that a powerful storm in the occupied Crimea washed away the trenches of invading Russian troops
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"In Yevpatoria, Russian occupiers' firing lines and positions were washed away into the Black Sea due to bad weather. There is unconfirmed information that the enemy's minefields have also been washed into the Black Sea. I hope that these mines will surface somewhere not further than Sevastopol, in particular at the base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. These mines can explode during a storm, and there is also such information. The storm also destroyed a dolphinarium in Sevastopol," Bratchuk said.
According to a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, the storm is strong in the Kerch Strait area, so Russian barriers around the Crimean bridge could be damaged.
"A Russian bulk carrier ran aground near the shore, and empty barges - the booms - could also be scattered by the sea. Some military facilities of the Russian occupation army in Crimea are also left without power," Bratchuk added.
