Russian enemy clings to Snihurivka because it is a strategic height - press officer of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration

Dmytro Pletenchuk, the press officer of Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration, reported that the enemy continues to stubbornly fight on the southern contact line

He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"First of all, the enemy clings to Snihurivka so much because it is a strategic point on the map. Snihurivka is located a little higher, from this location it is much easier to conduct defense, and it is much easier to observe deep behind the front line," Pletenchuk explained.

The press officer also added that Snihurivka is a strategic height.

"Secondly, Snihurivka is the last large settlement in the Mykolayiv region. These are the 5% that are still occupied. It should be noted that the enemy has a strange movement there and on the contact line they continue to fight stubbornly and bring in personnel and BC, ongoing fierce battles. Around Snihurivka, everything is not so simple, the enemy is bringing reserves," Pletenchuk noted.
