Russian Defense Ministry claims downing of Ukrainian UAV over Crimea
On Wednesday, August 16, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of an allegedly Ukrainian drone that tried to attack the occupied Crimea

This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on Telegram.
"Today, at about 11 o'clock, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by one unmanned aircraft on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped," the statement reads.
It is noted that Russian air defense systems detected and destroyed the drone over the territory of Crimea.

On Wednesday, August 16, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Ukraine, in their opinion, attacked facilities in the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation with three drones.
