Russian battalion loses over 50% of personnel near Mayorsk - General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

"In the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by significant losses in the course of military operations, cases of desertion have become more frequent in the units of the occupation forces and the moral and psychological state has significantly worsened," the report says.

So, after fighting in the area of the village of Mayorsk, the 1st Horlivka Territorial Battalion lost its combat capability.

"Losses in it amounted to more than 50% killed and wounded. The moral and psychological state of the servicemen is unsatisfactory. The Russian command disbanded the specified unit," the report says.

Therefore, the remaining personnel are distributed to other military units.
