Russian-backed "DPR" militants have announced that, on August 15, the show trial of five foreigners who fought on the side of Ukraine will begin. It will take place behind closed doors.

This is reported by the propaganda "Interfax" with reference to the representative of the so-called court.

As it is known, five foreigners who fought against the Russian occupiers on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces ended up on the dock.  They are Swedish citizen Matias Gustavsson, Croatian Vekoslav Prebig, as well as British citizens John Harding, Andrew Hill and Dylan Healy.

"DPR" separatists claim that foreigners are accused of "participation in armed conflict and military operations as mercenaries" and "training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities."

They are also accused of actions "aimed at violent seizure of power and change of the constitutional order of the DPR.

According to the "laws" of the pseudo-republic, if the soldiers are found guilty, they may face execution.
