This was reported by the press services of the Ministry of Energy and Ukrenergo.

"At night, the enemy attacked the territory near Khmelnytskyi NPP. The explosion damaged windows in the administrative and laboratory buildings. Due to the damage to power lines, 1860 consumers in the towns of Slavuta and Netishyn, Khmelnytskyi region, were cut off from electricity," the Ministry of Energy said.

They noted that repair work would begin as soon as power engineers were allowed to the site of the damage.

Due to the shelling, 9 settlements in the Donetsk region lost power. Some consumers in the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions are also without power. Repair teams will start working after the military authorizes them to do so.

In Kherson, 1,200 consumers are still without electricity due to flooding caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.

Power outages due to bad weather and technological disruptions

"As a result of technological disruptions, consumers in the Kirovohrad region were temporarily cut off from electricity supply yesterday, and there are also consumers in the Chernihiv and Kyiv regions without power," the Ministry of Energy said.

"Due to unfavorable weather conditions, 6,600 consumers in the Khmelnytskyi region and 11,100 consumers in the Lviv region were cut off from electricity supply," it added.

According to Ukrenergo, these are 79 settlements in these regions.

Consumption and generation

On Tuesday, electricity consumption was lower than on the first day of the working week.

"Two thermal power units that were taken out of service yesterday have been repaired and connected to the IPS. Three thermal power units were also taken out for emergency repairs yesterday. The repairs were completed by the end of the day," the Ministry of Energy said.

Currently, the generation fully covers the needs of consumers. No consumption limits were introduced.

Import and export

Electricity imports from Slovakia and Moldova are planned for Wednesday in the total amount of 501 MWh with a maximum capacity of up to 294 MW in some hours.

"Exports are carried out to Slovakia and Moldova in the total amount of 2,878 MWh with a maximum capacity of up to 375 MW in some hours," Ukrenergo said.

Over the past day, commercial imports amounted to 166 MWh, while exports to Slovakia and Moldova amounted to 3,271 MWh.
