Ukrainian air defence shoots down Russian missile near Kryvyi Rih
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian energy company DTEK.
Yesterday evening, one of DTEK's thermal power plants in the frontline region was once again damaged by shelling. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The company's equipment was damaged," the statement said.
"Power engineers are making every effort to eliminate the consequences of the shelling," DTEK added.
At the same time, the company did not specify whether there were any power cuts to consumers as a result of equipment damage.
In March, the company reported that direct losses from damage and destruction of equipment at DTEK's generating facilities were approaching UAH 6 billion.
On October 22, the Russian army also shelled one of DTEK's thermal power plants.
