Russian anthem during breaks: National Resistance Center tells how Russians turn Kherson schools into propaganda centers
In the Kherson region, the Russian occupiers force students of controlled educational institutions to sing the Russian anthem and teachers to study the Constitution of the Russian Federation after working hours
This was reported by the National Resistance Center.
"In the village of Strilkove, Henichesk district, Kherson region, the occupation administration of the Russian Federation forces employees and students of occupier-controlled educational institutions to sing the Russian anthem during breaks between classes, as well as study the Constitution of the Russian Federation after work," the statement reads.
The National Resistance Center reminded that in the fall of 2022, the occupiers introduced a mandatory extracurricular activity "Conversations about Important Things" in educational institutions, for which they issued "patriotic" methodologies to classroom teachers. At the same time, children are not allowed to attend online classes in Ukrainian schools. Parents are threatened with fines for this.
"Educational institutions in the temporarily occupied territories have turned into centers of propaganda that have nothing to do with education," was summarized.
