"In the operational area of the Pivdennyi-Buh direction, the situation is consistently difficult, but controlled. The destruction of enemy reserves, the destruction of control points and fire control of transport routes continues. The enemy army is mostly demoralized, but desperately resists. Trying to keep the defense on land, the enemy continues artillery and mortar attacks, as well as air and missile strikes on our positions, on peaceful settlements, on local residents," the OC South writes.
On Wednesday, September 1, Russian fighter jets and attack aircraft launched three missile strikes on the positions of the armed forces of Ukraine in the Beryslavsky district, without losses.
In response, the Ukrainian armed forces defeated one of the attack aircraft. The results are still being explored
