Russia will not dare to wage war against NATO - Artis Pabriks

He expressed this opinion on the air of Espreso TV channel.

"In any case, we are considering various options for the development of events. Including Russia's attack on NATO countries. However, I want to emphasize that Russia will not dare to start a war against NATO, or rather invade the Baltic states. We did consider such scenarios a few years ago. However, now that Russia is suffering huge losses in Ukraine, such events are unlikely," explained Pabriks.

The former Latvian Defense Minister noted that the Baltic states have always been preparing for a possible invasion of Russia.

"Over the past ten years, we have invested a lot in our defense. We are not afraid of Russia. The Baltic States are small countries, but we are very strongly integrated into NATO. There is a very serious contingent of NATO troops on our territory. So, the Russian invasion of our territory will look like madness," he added.
