Russia will be forced into public concessions on Ukraine – analyst
Political analyst Volodymyr Tsybulko believes that, as long as Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is alive, there will be no reconciliation between Ukraine and Russia
Political analyst Volodymyr Tsybulko believes that as long as Russian leader Putin is alive, there will be no reconciliation between Ukraine and Russia.
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
"Putin forgot to emphasize that as long as he exists, there will be no reconciliation with Ukraine. So, we need to start with the individual. Russia will indeed have to make many public admissions regarding Ukraine. They have already said so many absurd things that with this baggage, they will have to explain to their own population what they meant when they humiliated Ukraine. Then, they’ll need to explain it to the international community. And, of course, compensate every Ukrainian family for their losses," said Tsybulko.
According to the political analyst, when Putin talks about reconciliation with Ukraine, he is essentially acknowledging that Russia will have to pay reparations to Kyiv.
"So, when Putin talks about reconciliation, it’s a recognition of reparations and compensation. Essentially, he is coming to the thought of buying his way out, which, of course, Russia won’t manage. Unless with territories," he added.
