Zelenskyy plans to present war-ending proposal to Biden, Harris, Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he plans to present a plan to end the war to U.S. President Joe Biden, as well as presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, in September
He shared this during the "Ukraine 2024. Independence" forum.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the success of the plan depends on U.S. support, saying, “It all comes down to whether they will provide what’s needed and if we’ll be able to use it as intended.”
He added, “I think it’s important to present this plan to both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump because we don’t know who will be the next U.S. president, and we are committed to implementing this plan.”
Zelenskyy also noted that one component of the plan, which has already been put into action, involves the Kursk region. The plan further includes Ukraine's strategic role in global security, a diplomatic strategy to pressure Russia to end the war, and economic measures.
