Zelenskyy extends martial law, general mobilization in Ukraine until November 5
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed laws extending the period of martial law in Ukraine and authorizing a general mobilization

The Ukrainian Parliament reported this.
"In accordance with the laws, the term of martial law has been extended from 5:30 a.m. on August 7, 2025 for 90 days. The term of general mobilization has also been extended for the corresponding period," the Ukrainian Parliament said in a statement.
It is noted that these decisions are justified by the ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
- Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk said that the parliament is considering the issue of men aged 18 to 25 traveling abroad.
