"We want to see those consequences": Kaja Kallas on U.S. promise to act if Russia rejects ceasefire in Ukraine
The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, called on the United States to take the promised decisive actions against Russia, as Moscow did not support an unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine

“America said that if Russia doesn’t agree on an unconditional ceasefire, then there are going to be consequences. So we want to see those consequences, also from the U.S. side,” Kallas said in Brussels.
Earlier, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, after a conversation between European leaders and U.S. President Donald Trump on May 19, stated that the EU will “increase pressure” on the Kremlin through sanctions.
