Ukrainian drone attack causes fire at Russian oil terminal
On the night of June 18, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked two Russian oil depots in the Rostov region - Azov and Azovnefteprodukt - causing 22 fuel tanks to catch fire. Several media outlets reported this, citing sources within the SBU.
"It was especially loud near the railway station and near the port, where oil depots and fuel terminals are located. After the successful operation of the SBU drones, powerful fires broke out at the facilities," RBC-Ukraine noted.
Ukrainian-made drone destroys Russia's Tor M2
Russian forces have lost a Tor M2 tactical air defense missile system, which was hit by a long-range drone made in Ukraine. This was reported by the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The operators of the strike UAV unit of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed a Russian all-weather tactical anti-aircraft missile system, Tor M2," the brigade said. "Importantly, this type of UAV is of domestic production. Ukraine is developing this area, and there will be more such strikes."
Russian soldiers are surrounded at the plant in Vovchansk
DeepState co-founder Roman Pohorilyi reported that the exact number of Russian soldiers surrounded at the aggregate plant in Vovchansk is still unknown.
"As soon as the Russian forces found themselves surrounded at the aggregate plant in Vovchansk, speculation began. Various figures were mentioned about their presence at the plant. Some claimed it wasn't news because they had been there for three days. However, the soldiers have been there periodically since mid-May, when they started the Kharkiv offensive. This process continues to this day. There were attempts to break into the plant. Some occupying infantry succeeded, and recently a group broke through with ammunition and food," said Pohorilyi.
Russia loses 2-5 boats on Dnipro every day
Captain Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, stated at a briefing at Media Centre Ukraine that the Russian army loses two to five boats every day on the Dnipro.
"This is open water, with a high risk of mines and a large number of FPV drones. In this direction, for example, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a significant advantage in the use of FPV drones, and, of course, the Russians suffer significant losses because of this," Pletenchuk said.
