Ukrainian forces destroy boat, tank, ground control station for Russian UAVs in southern Ukraine

The Russian forces also lost 45 pieces of weapons and military equipment, including: 1 tank; 2 armored combat vehicles; 17 vehicles; 12 artillery pieces; 1 mortar; 1 electronic warfare station; 7 reconnaissance UAVs; 1 satellite communication station; 2 motorcycles; 1 boat. Five field ammunition storage sites, one fuel and lubricant storage site, four observation posts, three generators, and one UAV ground control station were destroyed.
Ukrainian Defense Forces down Russian Su-25 in Donetsk region
The destruction of this aircraft marks the second such incident this month for the anti-aircraft units of the Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Lieutenant General Marko Bezruchko.
“Thanks to the accuracy and professionalism of our anti-aircraft gunners, today Russian aviation has lost one more combat aircraft - a Su-25 attack aircraft. 'Pokrovsk Triangle' for Russian aviation,” the statement reads.
The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Major General Marko Bezruchko reported that two Russian pilots flew dangerously close to the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
A Russian Su-25 lost contact with the Ukrainian military in the "Pokrovsk triangle," an area notorious for Russian aircraft crashes. Two Russian pilots recklessly flew near Ukrainian positions, resulting in one being promptly "punished for his audacity."
Ukraine's General Staff confirms attack on Kavkaz port in Krasnodar Krai
On July 23, the Defense Forces damaged the Russian ferry Slavyanin in the port of Kavkaz in Krasnodar Krai.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is known that Russia used the ferry to transport railroad cars, containers, and vehicles for military purposes.
“Another result of the coordinated actions of the Defense Forces: the ferry of the occupiers was significantly damaged in the port of Kavkaz... “Slavyanin is the third and last rail ferry that Russia had in the region,” the General Staff emphasizes.
Earlier, Russian Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said that Ukrainian drones attacked the port of Kavkaz in Krasnodar Krai in the morning.
Latvia hands over 500 more drones to Ukraine
Latvia has sent Kyiv more than half a thousand drones, they are on their way to Ukraine, Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds announced.
“A parcel with more than 500 drones is on its way to Ukraine,” he wrote on social media platform X and confirmed his message with photos of packed boxes with the words ‘Drone Coalition’ on them.
Latvia is a member of the international drone coalition that works within the framework of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense. In total, it consists of 14 countries: in addition to Latvia and Ukraine, these are Australia, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, France, and Sweden.
