The destruction of this aircraft marks the second such incident this month for the anti-aircraft units of the Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Lieutenant General Marko Bezruchko.

“Thanks to the accuracy and professionalism of our anti-aircraft gunners, today Russian aviation has lost one more combat aircraft - a Su-25 attack aircraft. 'Pokrovsk Triangle' for Russian aviation,” the statement reads.

The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Major General Marko Bezruchko reported that two Russian pilots flew dangerously close to the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

Latvia is a member of the international drone coalition that works within the framework of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense. In total, it consists of 14 countries: in addition to Latvia and Ukraine, these are Australia, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, France, and Sweden.
