Ukrainian intelligence receives secret information about Russian military-industrial complex

Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate reports that it has received 100 GB of classified data from the Russian company Special Technological Center (STC) LLC.

This Russian firm has been under sanctions since 2016. Its facilities produce military equipment and machinery used by Russian army.

In particular, the STC manufactures Orlan UAVs of various modifications, a range of electronic warfare and reconnaissance equipment, and other military products.

The information includes documentation for 194 nomenclature items: drawings, specifications, patents, software, etc. - both existing and prospective military developments.

According to preliminary estimates, the value of the data obtained may be as high as USD 1.5 billion.

This archive is already being used to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and weaken the aggressor state.

After receiving F-16s, Ukraine can go on offensive in south

A Ukrainian breakthrough at the front is on the horizon again. This was reported by the German newspaper Welt. The authors of the article emphasize that after receiving F-16 fighters from Norway, Ukraine may launch an offensive on the southern front.

"Crimea was actually supposed to become a place of retreat and a striking ground for the Russian army. But Ukraine has again managed to strike successfully at the air force base. And an important party from Europe will soon arrive for the Defense Forces," the article says.

Welt emphasizes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces' foothold on Dnipro's left bank in the Kherson region is only 60 kilometers from Crimea. And the peninsula itself remains one of the most problematic regions of Russia. Over the past six months, the Black Sea Fleet has suffered painful losses. And the Ukrainian attacks of the last few weeks point to the unreliability of the Russian air defense system in Crimea, German journalists write.

Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian tank with Bohdana

The 1st Detached Special Forces Brigade named after Ivan Bohun demonstrated the destruction of a Russian tank by a Ukrainian artillery system Bohdana. The video of the direct hit was posted on the brigade's social media page. The brigade was created in March 2022 and has been involved in combat since its formation. In addition to Ukrainians, citizens of 19 other countries, including the United States, Australia, Germany, France, Sweden, and others, are fighting in the first brigade.

In addition, the Commander of the Land Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, showed how the 22nd Brigade destroyed an enemy infantry fighting vehicle. The successful operation was the work of a company of unmanned aerial systems Demons of the Storm.

Ukraine exports 15 million tons of grain via grain corridor

Since the launch of the temporary grain corridor in August 2023, Ukraine has exported 15 million tons of grain, 40% of which went to China and Egypt. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yuriy Vaskov.

"As a result of the Ukrainian grain corridor, 27 countries have received our products. As of today, it is almost 15 million tons, which were exported by 469 vessels. For example, 33% of the cargo went to China, 11% to Egypt, 4% to Indonesia, and 2% to Turkey. Vessels from the ports of Odesa went directly to these countries," he said.

The official recalled that when Russia withdrew from the Black Sea initiative, the Ukrainian Navy announced the launch of a temporary corridor. It was initially used by vessels that were blocked in Odesa ports because of the war and were not covered by the grain initiative. In mid-September, the first ships loaded with Ukrainian grain entered the Black Sea port. Over time, the number of vessels ready to export Ukrainian agricultural products increased, Vaskov noted.

Pope condemns Russian aggression against Ukraine for the first time

Pope Francis, speaking about the troubles facing humanity, for the first time mentioned Russia in the context of the war in Ukraine. The head of the Catholic Church spoke about the large-scale war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the Associated Press reports.

“It marked an unusual break with Francis’ usual tendency to spare Moscow direct, public blame for the invasion when expressing solidarity with the Ukrainian people,” the journalists wrote.
