Ukraine's Defense Ministry authorizes use of 9 Ukrainian robotic systems

Since the beginning of 2024, experts of the Ukrainian Defense have codified and authorized 9 Ukrainian-made ground robotic systems for use in the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This was announced by Colonel Volodymyr Rochniak.

"The role of unmanned systems on the battlefield is increasing, today they perform a wide range of tasks, gradually minimizing the presence of humans on the front line. Since the beginning of 2024 alone, 9 ground robotic systems created by Ukrainian weapons manufacturers have been codified.

Unmanned platforms on the battlefield carry a weapon system that allows soldiers to fire remotely. There are also robots for evacuating the wounded from the battlefield, performing logistics tasks, mining and demining.
