Ukrainians should take out and charge their power banks

The situation in the energy sector is not yet catastrophic, but critical

Let me give you a little advice. Take out and charge your power banks. Check your diesel generators that are hidden and already covered in dust. Get your EcoFlow and other portable power sources serviced and recharged immediately.

The situation in the energy sector is not yet catastrophic, but critical, but we are one step away from the worst case scenario. We need to understand that thanks to the Russian missile terror, which the Kremlin has no plans to stop, we will most likely have to live in rolling blackouts.

After talking to industry professionals and experts, I believe that we should immediately declare a state of emergency in the energy sector and take all the necessary measures. In addition, it is time not only to make changes in the management and governance of the industry, but also to understand how and on what the money that was officially allocated to ensure the security of energy infrastructure facilities was spent.

And Ukraine's leadership should start explaining to its partners in the process of negotiations for air defense and missile defense systems that a new factor has emerged that should motivate them to help Ukraine — a new wave of refugees. And if the situation worsens, this wave will be counted not in hundreds of thousands, but in millions of displaced persons to Europe, due to the humanitarian catastrophe that the Kremlin is now creating.

And in negotiations with our Western partners, the factor of a potential new wave of refugees can become a weighty and convincing argument for increasing motivation.

It sounds cynical, but the situation is such that there is no time for moralizing. The main thing is that the President’s Office should not waste time and be able to hold these negotiations at the required level.
