Ukrainian Special Forces destroy Russian equipment on Tendra Spit

Ukraine's intelligence reported the information.

The Special Forces carried out a special operation on the night of August 6. The airborne group landed on the Tendra Spit and destroyed Russian armored vehicles, including MT-LB, an electronic warfare system, and destroyed Russian fortifications.

"During the battle, the Russian invaders suffered losses among their personnel - the exact number is being clarified," the intelligence reports.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian military reconnaissance men, having fulfilled their task, including the secret part of it, withdrew without losses.

For reference. Tendra Spit is a long, narrow island spit in the northern part of the Black Sea, off the coast of Kherson region. 

• In February 2024, soldiers of the 73rd Naval Special Operations Center heroically died during a combat mission in a clash with Russian forces near the Tendra Spit.
