He shared this information with Espreso TV.
Iyevlev stated, "There was a share of equipment and personnel that the enemy was pulling up from our flank to Avdiivka. But they were not withdrawn from the Horlivka direction, so we remain on high alert, anticipating their advance. Consulting the DeepState map, it seems the most logical. Currently, we're dealing with a significant surge in enemy UAV activity, particularly kamikaze drones, but nothing else."
The soldier emphasized that in previous instances in the Horlivka area, Russian drone usage wasn't as intense.
"While UAVs are active and enemy artillery constantly engages, there are no direct positional assaults from the enemy in the Horlivka direction," added Iyevlev.
- In Avdiivka, Russian forces persist in their offensive, denying Ukrainian forces the respite needed to fortify their defense line.
- NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Alliance leaders clarified that no unanimous decision to deploy troops to Ukraine has been made, with Russia warning such a move would be deemed a declaration of war.
