Ukrainian forces strike oil depot deep inside Russia's Penza region

Ukrainian forces have struck the Penzanefteprodukt oil depot in Russia's Penza region, as well as other military targets in Crimea and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

"As part of the systematic and planned reduction of the enemy's offensive capabilities and military-economic potential, the Penzanefteprodukt oil depot in Russia's Penza region was hit," the statement said.

The General Staff noted that a fire broke out at the facility as a result of the strike.

According to the military, the oil depot was involved in supplying the invading Russian army.

Additionally, the strike on the Podlyot radar station in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea near the village of Frunze has been confirmed.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck concentrations of enemy personnel in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region and in Russia's Belgorod region. Enemy losses are being clarified.

  • On the night of January 22, Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Russia's Krasnodar region, as well as a number of enemy air defense facilities in temporarily occupied Crimea.
