Ukraine strikes 85 key targets inside Russia in under two months — top commander
In less than two months, Ukrainian forces hit 85 important targets on Russian territory, 33 of which were military objectives
Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported the information, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
“In just under two months, 85 key targets on Russian territory have been struck. Of these, 33 are military targets: bases, depots, arsenals, airfields, and aircraft on the ground. Another 52 are defense industry facilities: enterprises producing weapons, ammunition, warheads, engines, rocket fuel, and drones — everything used daily against us,” he said.
The commander-in-chief also emphasized the effectiveness of the DeepStrike program, which Kyiv’s partners have highly praised.
“The results are clear. There is a fuel crisis in Russia, which directly affects logistics and the army’s supply. Russia’s defense industry capabilities have been significantly reduced, and we see this on the battlefield. It has forced the Russian fleet to hide at the Novorossiysk base, only venturing out briefly for missile strikes, then returning to shelters. It has also forced the Russians to pull tactical aviation far from the front line,” Syrskyi noted.
- At the same time, Syrskyi announced the creation of a new branch within the Ukrainian Air Force.
