Ukrainian forces push Russians back near Dobropillia, advance in Donetsk region

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the enemy near Rubizhne, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Vesele, Vilne, Shakhove, Nykonorivka, and Sukhetske,” the statement said.
Statement from the 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard
Over the past three days, units of the 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine successfully halted the enemy’s advance in the Pokrovsk sector.
“As a result of search-and-strike operations, the following settlements were cleared: Hruzke, Rubizhne, Novovodiane, Petrivka, Vesele, Zolotyi Kolodiaz,” the statement said.
During intense fighting, the enemy suffered heavy manpower losses:
- 271 killed in action
- 101 wounded
- 13 captured
In addition, the enemy lost significant amounts of equipment and weaponry, including:
- 1 tank
- 2 armored combat vehicles
- 37 vehicles and motorcycles
- 3 guns
Stabilization measures are now underway in the Dobropillia sector.
- As of the morning of August 15, Russian forces advanced in three settlements toward the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk region.
