This was reported by Lieutenant General Serhiy Naiev, the commander of the tactical group in one of the operational directions in the Donetsk region.

According to him, during this period, Ukrainian forces managed to reduce personnel losses by 20%, regain control of the settlement of Dniproenerhiya, and improve tactical positions on two critical fronts.

In addition to the 9,500 eliminated Russian soldiers, Ukrainian units in this sector destroyed 51 tanks, 166 armored fighting vehicles, and 819 vehicles (including armored cars, jeeps, motorcycles, buggies, and quad bikes) over the two-month period.

According to Naiev, about 70% of Russian losses were caused by strikes from various types of drones, including the “General Chereshnya,” “Baton,” “Tini” (“Shadow”), “Vyriy Pro,” “Mavic 3 Pro,” and “Autel MAX 4T.” In particular, partners supplied the brigade with 3,433 drones.

"The enemy continues its attempts to break through. The number of assault operations is increasing, with more equipment and manpower involved. During the latest massive offensive along the Vesele–Skudne axis, the enemy used 5 tanks, 14 armored vehicles, and 6 armored cars. The vehicles moved in four columns filled with troops. The columns were detected by aerial reconnaissance before reaching the front. As a result of fire strikes and drone operations, over 100 enemy troops, 4 tanks, 9 armored vehicles, and 3 armored cars were destroyed.

We’re pushing forward!" said General Naiev.

  • Russian forces are once again attempting to land on the Dnipro islands and establish footholds for further advances, according to Serhii Bratchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army.
