Ukrainian army shoots down over 9,000 Russian drones since beginning of full-scale war

The ministry noted that every night Russia launches drones across Ukraine to hit civilian infrastructure.

"Effective air defense = saved lives of Ukrainians," Ukraine's Ministry of Defense emphasized.

On April 8, MoD reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army had lost over 15,000 vehicles and tanks with fuel and lubricants.

In addition, the ministry noted that since the beginning of spring, almost 2,000 units of Russian equipment have been destroyed.

• In March, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a record number of Russian artillery systems. The Ministry of Defense said that in March 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted 976 Russian artillery systems. This is the highest figure for one month since the start of the full-scale invasion.
