Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to repel air attacks from Belarus - Air Force spokesman
Ilia Yevlash, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, said that the Defense Forces are ready to repel an air attack from the territory of Belarus
He said this on Espreso TV.
"If missiles or airplanes start flying from the territory of Belarus to Ukraine and attack our territory, we are ready to repel their air attack. Our forces, in particular Ukraine's Intelligence and the Security Service, have proven to the world that we can conduct unique operations on adversary territory. Therefore, if there is a threat from the territory of Belarus, we will do everything possible to secure our airspace," emphasized Yevlash.
According to Yevlash, the Armed Forces are preparing for all possible scenarios.
"We have to understand that aviation as a branch of the army is a highly mobile part of the army that can move quickly over long distances. Belarus has already allowed Russia to attack Ukraine from its territory. Therefore, today we must be prepared for any hostile action, including a strike on enemy air targets," he said.
