Ukraine’s forces retake Udachne village in Pokrovsk sector — General Staff

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information.

“The clearing of Udachne in Donetsk region and the raising of the flag. Pokrovsk sector,” the statement said.

According to a video message, assault groups from the Skelya regiment liberated the settlement, destroying all Russian strongpoints.

“For two weeks, the assault groups systematically cleared the village house by house and raised the Ukrainian flag over it,” the General Staff added.

• On September 1, there were 63 combat engagements on the Russian–Ukrainian front. The Russian army is attacking most actively in the Pokrovsk direction.
