Ukraine's 24th Brigade shows what Russian-destroyed Chasiv Yar looks like

"The invaders are mercilessly shelling the city with artillery, mortars, air strikes, and drones. Our fighters are massively destroying enemy infantry and equipment, preventing the occupiers from entering the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal line," the statement says.

24th Brigade redeployed to Chasiv Yar to strengthen defense
In June, it became known that units of the 24th King Danylo Brigade were redeployed to strengthen defense in the Chasiv Yar area.
"The situation in and around the city is extremely difficult. The enemy is constantly organizing massive frontal assaults and is trying to bypass the settlement from the north and south," the military wrote.
What is known about the 24th Brigade
The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo is a military unit of mechanized troops of the Ukrainian Land Forces. It is part of the operational command West. The brigade is named after King Danylo, a prominent statesman and commander of the Middle Ages.
Since the beginning of the Russian aggression in 2014, the brigade's units have been involved in many areas of the war in the east. The brigade's soldiers are also involved in combat operations during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
